Christine Alupo is a dedicated leader, banking professional, and passionate Rotarian committed to service and impact. She works at the Bank of Uganda, where she currently serves as Director of Currency, bringing years of expertise and leadership to her role. As President-elect of the Rotary Club of Sonde, Christine is focused on leading with purpose, driving sustainable projects, and fostering collaboration to enhance the club’s impact.

Christine has served in various leadership roles within the club, including Director of Membership, Chair of the Finance Committee, and Vice President. These experiences have enriched her understanding of Rotary’s mission and strengthened her dedication to ‘Service Above Self.’ Her vision for the 2025–2026 Rotary year includes deepening the impact of existing projects, enhancing partnerships, identifying new opportunities for service, increasing member engagement, and raising the club’s visibility and influence.

Outside of Rotary, Christine enjoys traveling, reading, writing, and volunteering — passions that align with her commitment to making a difference in the world. She embraces her role as President-elect with humility and determination, eager to lead the club to new heights through collective action and shared purpose.
